Dental Crowns at DentImplant

When a tooth is brittle, cracked, decayed, or damaged, a dental crown may be necessary to preserve and restore its structure. At DentImplant, your affected tooth is carefully cleaned and prepared before the permanent crown is fitted to protect and restore its health.

Crowns can be crafted from a variety of materials to suit the specific needs of your tooth. These materials include porcelain, zirconia, gold, other metals, acrylic resin, or a combination of these. Porcelain crowns are known for their natural appearance and superior stain resistance.

Dental crowns can whiten, reshape, and realign existing teeth, contributing to a bright and healthy smile. Each crown is custom-made to fit your unique smile, ensuring the most natural look possible. To ensure your crown blends seamlessly, we consider the overall shape and color of your teeth and match it as closely as possible. If you’d like to change the color of your teeth first, feel free to discuss this with your dentist during your appointment.

Preparing Your Crown at DentImplant

Your crown can be custom fabricated and fitted in a single day during your appointment at DentImplant using the advanced CEREC technology, or it may require two visits if it needs to be sent to the laboratory for fabrication.

CEREC Crown – Same-Day Restoration at DentImplant

Your dental crown can be custom-crafted right in front of you. In just one appointment, DentImplant’s skilled dentists can restore your tooth’s health and functionality. Using advanced CEREC technology, you can even watch your crown being precisely milled. By the end of your visit, your permanent restoration will be securely in place, eliminating the need for a follow-up appointment.

Crown – Two-Visit Process at DentImplant

During your first visit, your dentist will reshape the tooth to remove any unhealthy or damaged structure. An impression is taken, and the shade of your tooth is carefully discussed to ensure it blends seamlessly with your natural teeth for the most authentic appearance.

While your custom crown is being fabricated in the laboratory, a temporary crown is placed to protect your tooth. At your second appointment, the temporary crown is removed, and your permanent crown is securely fitted, restoring both the health and aesthetics of your smile.
